We made $2.00 Hats the first day in our hotel in El Cajon, CA.  Shasta is wearing her purple hat, AND my orange one.  : )

This is Shasta and I in a sculpture thing at Seaport Village.  It was a fun little place.  : )  There were some guys watching us, but they disappeared when we stuck our hands out the lady's nose...I can't imagine why?!?!  : )

Tuesdays are FREE ICECREAM day at Seaport Village, so Shasta chased the icecream mascot down for a picture.  I don't know who the guy smiling at the camera is, but we thought he was pretty funny!  : )

These are from the newly re-opened Mormon Battalion.  It was AMAZING!!  I really liked this place!  : )

THE HOTEL DEL CORONADO!!  You have to have some MONEY to stay here!  It is really pretty, though.  : )

This is the Coronado Bridge.  It is actually longer than the Golden Gate, but it doesn't look like it because it has an 80 degree curve on one side.  : )  It was pretty, too.

It was a little cold when the boat was moving, so I took a picture of Shasta trying to stay in the sunlight.  : )

Our tour guide guy told us this was a yacht.  It looks close, but it is really far away, even with my zoom.  To me, it looks more like a sailboat, but what do I know??  : )

These were HUGE $5.00 Pizza slices at the Farmers Market near Ocean Beach.  They were so big, some guy stopped and asked us if he could take a picture of us.  : )  Lots of people laughed at us all sitting together with our HUGE pizzas.  This is not the picture the guy took, this is one I got from an odd angle.  : )

This is MY slice of pizza.  It was almost as big as my lap.  I bought that and a HUGE cup of fresh fruit and ate it all.  It was YUMMY!!  : )  We all really liked the atmosphere of the Farmers Market.  : )

None of us wanted pizza for the rest of the week after this.  : )  It was REALLY good, but a WHOLE LOT of pizza.

Just remembering....

So, for Halloween Mac was a rain cloud with a 100% chance of rain (he had a spray bottle). I was the Corpse Bride. :D I was just going through my pictures and found these, so I thought I'd post them since some are kind of funny. Mostly they include Mac, so I just like to post them so everytime I get on here I can see more of him. :D LAME! I know. :D What can I say?!?! He's a cute one!! :D Anyway, Halloween 2009, here you go. :D

I have had one of those days...you know...the kind where you just want to call it quits and cry already. :D Well, I made it to the end of the day alright(obviously, since it is rediculously late right now), and then I found this video. Mac had his younger brother, BJ, bring two pink roses and a message to me. :D My cute Elder! :D These are my BEAUTIFUL Valentine's Day presents from Mac. Just thought I'd share them with everyone. I miss that boy! :D

Whitney picked the numbers 2 and 15, so I followed them through my pictures and ended up with this one. :D I was hoping it would work for file numbers, but instead I used it as a count for scrolling. Anyway, these are potatoes from Mac. They are shaped like an "I," a heart, and a "U." He and his cute Mom looked for them during potato harvest and then he left them on my car windshield one night before I got off work. Now they are growing/rotting in my parent's storage room. Ewwww!! But still cute. :D I love that boy. Thanks for the help Whitney! This was a fun picture to find! :D

One week ago, yesterday Mac left for two years. Pleh! Someday I call I get to be the one leaving. :D Especially for a mission!! :D

So...Mac leaves next wednesday, January 13, 2010. Eeeekkk!! I am going to miss my very cute boyfriend. Anyway, we took these pictures while we were at Laura and Jon's house for New Year's Eve. :D

So...in case no one has noticed...I never take the time to post on my blog any more. It is now almost Christmas Break, and I haven't been on here since the end of Spring semester. :D Anyway, I had to get on here to change my music for Christmas and thought I'd make fun of myself and my inability to Blog. :D Happy Holidays everyone!!

SUMMER BREAK!!

WooHoo!! I just finished my last final for this year and am now a FREE WOMAN!! :D Officially, this means that I am no longer a Freshman, but am now a Sophomore. Woot! Woot!! :D Anyway, Mac might be coming home next week. He says he thinks he's done at the Academy, and it's time to serve his mission. I'm SO HAPPY!! Heeheehee!! Name that movie. :D Yep...that's pretty much life right now. I'll try to post some new pictures soonly...which, for me is within a month. :D Yay FREE!! :D :D :D :D

Two Days and Twelve Hours!!

Shasta and I leave for Las Vegas in Two Days and Twelve Hours!! I'm SO EXCITED!! Name that movie (if you can...it's an older one). Jackie is riding with us part of the way, and I get to see my FAMILY!! :D YAY!! YAY!!

This is the Christus on Temple Square. I believe this was the trip when Mac took me (and a group of friends) to the Spring 2008 Conference. It could be the Fall 2007, though. We went both times. Anyway, I loved both trips. The fall trip I think I talked to Mac the ENTIRE time...poor kid. It was like 5:AM, though, and someone needed to keep him awake. If it was the Spring trip, it wasn't SO early because we got tickets in advance, but I still probably talked Mac's ear off. :D I'm good at that. What I remember MOST about this trip is how stongly I felt the spirit when the First Presidency walked into the Conference Center. Then we were able to sustain the new Presidency and President Monson. I don't know that I'll EVER forget how sure I felt (for the first time) that President Monson is truly called of God, and that he is more than able to fill the hole left by our beloved President Hinckley. I love these men!! In the scriptures it says there is nothing more beautiful than a virtuous woman, and I believe that on that same note, there is nothing more beautiful (for lack of a more manly word) than a man who TRULY honors his priesthood. Someday we are going to have to go to Conference again. Maybe we should set that as one of our family goals. There is such a great spirit there!! :D Anyway, that's my photo tag/blog. Hmmm...

So I promised Whitney I would post before I left for Connecticut, but things got a little VERY crazy last week, and it didn't happen. Therefore, this is my post, and it's WAY FOREVER late, but it's a post none the less. So! Life is going well for the most part. I'm still a wuss and a crybaby as usual, but I'm oh so very blessed! School is going well. Church is a life saver. Family is wonderful, but still too far away. Mac is amazing, and also too far away. Friends are fun. Work is work. Over all, life is good! :D I am once again counting down the days until I get to see Mac again...which by the way is in 13 DAYS, 21 HOURS, 6 MINUTES and a rapidly decreasing number of SECONDS. :D EXCITING!! Oh yeah! And I realized I don't even really have my Senior Picture on here...so I'm going to work on that. :D I have a face shot, cropped version of it. :D



So there is one. The rest will come...maybe.... :D
