I received this picture from Mac this last week. :D He said the uniforms were really hot :D and several people passed out while in formation and stuff (sorry if any of my terminology is off...I'm working on it). Anyway, I agree with him, the uniforms ARE hot. :D ...but he's cuter. :D

Week Two!!

I am now officially over half way through my second week of college!! Yay!! My classes are fun, but I hate all the homework. Don't professors know that after class should be free time?!?! :D Haha!! I wish. :D I really like college so far. Yes, it's a HUGE homework load sometimes, but the class atmosphere is unbelievably better than ANY high school class. Even my AP classes (by a long shot)! It's funny how short an hour long class seems when you have a three hour lab once a week, too. :D I've discovered that it's quite difficult to stay awake for long lectures in these classes. I usually doze off at least once right in the middle of class. Then, I get so embarrassed about sleeping in class that I stay awake for the rest of the lecture. :D So far it's worked. :D
On Friday and Saturday I get to start training at Party Palace. I'm excited for that! :D It will mean even less time to do my homework, but I think it will be good for me. I tend to work better when I know I HAVE to get stuff done rather than thinking I have all day to finish.
On top of all the other new adventures in my life, I also received a calling as the Single's Ward Relief Society Secretary. Talk about a LOT of FIRSTS in a VERY short amount of time!! COLLEGE, PARTY PALACE, AND RELIEF SOCIETY SECRETARY!! It's pretty much what I've been praying for, though. Not the calling, but to stay busy. Anything to take my mind off of missing Mac is a good thing. I like my busy days. At the end of the day I fall asleep fast, and I sleep better. Then my next day just seems to flow more smoothly because I'm well rested and less emotional. Funny how that works!! :D

I Miss You

This is my incredibly cute boyfriend. I met Mac at the end of our sophomore year at Highland High School, we started dating in the middle of our junior year, and he truly became my best friend somewhere during our senior year. He is currently in Connecticut attending the Coast Guard Academy. This next week will conclude his grueling basic training for the Coast Guard, and that also means he will FINALLY get his cell phone back!! YAY!! I miss him like crazy, and can't wait to talk to him again. As wonderful as letters are, they just aren't the same as hearing that comforting voice at the other end of the line. :D

...That pretty much sums up my senior year. I'm pretty sure more has taken place in the last 2 1/2 months since graduation than took place my ENTIRE Senior Year, but it was fun anyway. :D

So...I am totally new to this whole blogging thing, but my sister has become a convert, so I thought I might as well give it a shot. :D I like to talk a lot, so I should have SOMETHING to blog, right? Hopefully!!
