We went to Boise for the Eclipse Premiere. For the first and last time in a LONG time we almost had the entire ##4 +2 there!! It was SO much fun!! We dearly missed Jackie, who could not come along. Hopefully we will be able to get all six of us together again someday. : ) Love my homegirls (or as Jackie's shirt says, Home Girs)!! : )

Two Weeks to FREEDOM!!
An update!!
So, this past couple of weeks have been pretty eventful. : ) I got accepted to the Dental Hygiene Program and Idaho State University. I spoke with my advisor and one of the main directors of the program a short time later, and I turned the program down so that I can serve a mission. YAY MISSION!! I just learned that I can turn my Mission papers in 120 days before my 21st Birthday. That is the week of July 30th, I believe! : ) Did I mention I'm SUPER excited?!?! : )
I just looked on my calender today, and Mac has been gone for 100 Days as of today. Woohoo!! Only 630 Days to go. Plus however long it takes me to get home from my mission. : ) Thankfully, he is in good health so far, and has not run into any life-threatening situations. : ) However, I guess his Bishop is a multi-millionair, and has been abducted for his money like twice!! CrAzY!! : ) Oh yeah, and I guess the fish is a safer bet than the Chilli in Mexico. So if you're ever headed there, remember these words of advice. Mac also says that if you put enough lime and tabasco sauce on fish, it doesn't even really taste fishy. So another word of advice. : )
There are two weeks of school left. YAY! Next week is dead week, and the next weeks is FINALS!! Then I am school-free until 2012. : ) I'm pretty sure I'm going to miss going to school, but it will be nice to take a break. Especially to Serve the LORD. : )
Thank you to those of you who have helped me to survive this semester and Mac's leaving and everything. I love you all!
Much Love,
Alycia Louise

Oh yeah, and I realized that I still hadn't posted any pictures from my 20th Birthday (way back in November), so I thought I'd get on that. : ) Getting old isn't SO bad. It's just weird. : )
The best part about this cake had to be watching Mac light it with a blow torch (at least I'm pretty sure that's what it was). : ) The cake was yummy, too! Thank you Shasta and Mac!! : )
And Thank you Family!! I love you all.

San Diego Spring Break 2010!!
Alycia, first day at Pacific Beach!!
Tami Owens, Shasta Chandler, and Brenda first day at Pacific Beach!!
The whole crew. HAHA! We were SO happy to BE there already!! : )
Shasta and Alycia at Pacific Beach (first day).
Shasta and her Sunshine at Pacific Beach!!
Need I say more...???? : )
We made $2.00 Hats the first day in our hotel in El Cajon, CA. Shasta is wearing her purple hat, AND my orange one. : )
We bought shirts to celebrate our vacation!! : ) YAY SPRING BREAK 2010!! : )
These were flowers at Balboa Park (second day). : )
Same garden...different "flowers" at Balboa Park! : )
Sculptures at Balboa Park. We like to get into the ART! : )
This guy was at Balboa Park as well. He wasn't very good at magic, but Shasta thought he was fun to look at, so we snuck a picture. : )
This is Shasta and I in a sculpture thing at Seaport Village. It was a fun little place. : ) There were some guys watching us, but they disappeared when we stuck our hands out the lady's nose...I can't imagine why?!?! : )
Tuesdays are FREE ICECREAM day at Seaport Village, so Shasta chased the icecream mascot down for a picture. I don't know who the guy smiling at the camera is, but we thought he was pretty funny! : )
These are from the newly re-opened Mormon Battalion. It was AMAZING!! I really liked this place! : )
THE HOTEL DEL CORONADO!! You have to have some MONEY to stay here! It is really pretty, though. : )
Shasta and Alycia tempting the waves at Coronado Beach!!
Coronado was DEFINITELY one of my favorite Beaches! : )
This is a view of San Diego Bay as we returned from our Harbor Tour. : )
This is the Coronado Bridge. It is actually longer than the Golden Gate, but it doesn't look like it because it has an 80 degree curve on one side. : ) It was pretty, too.
It was a little cold when the boat was moving, so I took a picture of Shasta trying to stay in the sunlight. : )
Our tour guide guy told us this was a yacht. It looks close, but it is really far away, even with my zoom. To me, it looks more like a sailboat, but what do I know?? : )
These were HUGE $5.00 Pizza slices at the Farmers Market near Ocean Beach. They were so big, some guy stopped and asked us if he could take a picture of us. : ) Lots of people laughed at us all sitting together with our HUGE pizzas. This is not the picture the guy took, this is one I got from an odd angle. : )
This is MY slice of pizza. It was almost as big as my lap. I bought that and a HUGE cup of fresh fruit and ate it all. It was YUMMY!! : ) We all really liked the atmosphere of the Farmers Market. : )
None of us wanted pizza for the rest of the week after this. : ) It was REALLY good, but a WHOLE LOT of pizza.
